Falesya's Labour Story @ DEMC; Part 1

Friday, 8/9/2013, 3.30a.m.; Macam biasa, since heavily pregnant, awal-awal pagi mesti terasa nak buat routine trip to the toilet. Tapi, malasnyaaa nak bangun.... And suddenly, I felt wet!!! Ok, I checked it to confirm that I didn't pee in my pants!!! So, I rushed to the toilet and.... Bushhh!!!!!! There was the sound!!! Yup, my water officially broke at 35weeks!!! Still in the toilet, finished my 'business' while thinking... 'Habislaaa..... banyak lagi kut kerja kat office yang tak handover what not!!!' Sempat lagi kan???

Then, I woke up my Sayang. After settling himself, we discussed what should be done. First, ensure most of our saving is reachable!!! Pfftt!!! The perks of bersalin di Malaysia where the nearest Government Hospital in our area is in Klang!!! LOL!!! Ok, might sounds 'pelik' to some people, nak bersalin untuk anak pun nak berkira kan??? Tapi, in my defence yang kena bayar sendiri nie, saving tak banyak mana and tak tau apa nak expect during first labor in Malaysia nie, biarlah kami standby siap-siap ye tak? Taknak laaa tetiba takleh kuar duit ke apa ke pasal lepas office hour or weekend... Ooo, lagi satu, sebab, both of of us dah buat pact, NO CREDIT CARD NO MORE!!!! Muahahaha!!!

Ok, setel satu bab!!! Then, kami sambung tidur, boleh??? Sayang laaa.... Aku yang tak boleh tidur, layan main Fruit Pop kat phone. Reason being, since dah pernah ada experience yang first dulu, kami dapat instinct   yang takder maknanya aku akan datang contraction dalam masa terdekat. So, relax dulu... By the time 6.30am, baru aku kejutkan Sayang balik, solat semua, siapkan Faheem and since dia taknak pergi school, so, he'll be joining us to hospital. Sementara tue, Sayang went and bought us a heaven brakfast, nasi lemak!!!! Kat UK dulu, kalut terus pergi hospital, nak kebulur aku duduk kat situ, jadi mari jadik bijak ini kali!!!

Around 8.30am, we hit the road and wile on it, I made calls to the hospital to inform them that I'm coming. They just told me to check-in at the labour room. Sampai sana, time Sayang parking, aku lepak-lepak dulu kat dalam tuh, siap berborak ngan sorang kakak naik wilcha sebab accident. Dia and sedara dia siap pelik aku boleh relax-relax lagi!!! Siap ucap good luck kat aku!!! Hehe!!! So, we went for checked-in at the labour room. I just passed them my pink check up book from Klinik Kesihatan. (I did my routine check-up at Klinik Kesihatan Seksyen 19, and only went to DEMC for check-up 3 times, 1st time with Dr. Zamri, waktu bulan puasa, bila dapat sense pregnant, 2nd time sebab nak book Dr. Jumeah and 3rd time untuk detail scan, that was it!!!) They said Dr. Jumeah will come and do the most hated thing, VE or Vaginal Examination!!!! Pffftt!!!! I really hate anything that need to relate to my private part!!! But what to do, redha je laaa....

So, when the Dr. arrived and did her thing, she told me, dah ada opening 1cm, baby's heart bit and BP OK. Since I know that the contraction won't be coming any time sooner (from previous labour experinces), I would love the idea of induced me straight away, but I was only on my 35 weeks gestation, which makes the baby premature, so, she advised me to take 2 times Dexa jab, within 12 hours, to strengthen baby's lung. As much as I hate jabs, I had no choice but to agree with them!!! So, I had the 1st jab at 11am...

After that, Sayang was busy with my registration. Luckily, my parents were available that day, so, they came to the hospital, help us to take care of Faheem. At around 3pm, my room is ready, which, we requested for single room. Then, my family were allowed to come in (no guest at labour room) and we just chatting, eating (do you know that DEMC has the yummiest beef pie ever?????, but didn't get to eat that since my mom bought the chicken pie instead!!! will eat that during our check-up next week!!!)  and memeriahkan bilik beramai-ramai!!!! Even my sister and brother drop me a visit from Muar and Melaka.... Oh, how sweet!!! My MIL drop by as well during the night... I felt touch, really!!! Since during the 1st labour, there were just two of us to handle everything, apatah lgi, my water broke at 36weeks, so, my parents only managed to arrive 5 days after Faheem was born!!! Itupun kena awalkan tiket 2 minggu!!!! Anak aku semua memang tak sabar nak tengok dunia...

That night, Faheem followed my parents home, while I had my second jab at 11pm. I didn't feel any strong contraction yet, until around 4am. I called the nurse, but according to CTG, my contraction was not that strong. By that time, I tried to get some sleep, but kept awake everytime the contraction came to visit!!!!! Around 5am something, the nurse asked me to get some shower and get ready to go to labour room. By the time we were ready, azan Subuh pun berkumandang, so, marilah solat dulu.....

Alhamdulillah, you were born on 9-Mar-13, at 10.17am, at DEMC Shah Alam...

You just can't wait to meet us when you decided to pop out a lil bit too early at 35wks gestation, but with 3.05kgs weight and 51cm length! Doesn't sound like premature baby at all, eyh?

Anyway, you just made mummy, daddy, abang and the whole family the most happiest people in the world...

Even you had made mummy and daddy missed your Aunty Ayu & Uncle Zaffuan's wedding reception! And since Aunty Ayu just can't wait to meet you, you had made her to come all the way here with her wedding dress!

Such a drama queen laaa you...

All in all, I'm one happy Mummy with 2 kids, a very adorable 5yrs boy, and cute little girl...

Nothing much I can say except, Thank You Allah, for the new adventures you've given to us....

confession: aku suka ambik gambar tapi x suka bergambar! sebab aku adalah sangat low self esteem yg merasakan aku sgt x fotogenik, x fotogedik n aku akan nampakk sgt gemuk dlm gambar!

so imagine laaa bila dah betul2 gemuk, lagi hazab aku rasa bila tgk gambar sendirik! cubalah apa pose pun, mmg sgt hodoh aku rasa, lagilaaa kalu buat duckface, konon nak feeling nora danish, xyah mimpi! buat org muntah dan muntah lagi bila tgk gambar aku! huhuhu!

tp, thanks to adik ipar aku yg telah memperkenalkan apps photowonder kat aku! tetiba rasa nak nangis tengok gambar sendiri! rasa cam sweet 18 yoouuuu! ok, sila muntah sekarang!!!

Situasi 1

Macam biasa, sebab dah lambat sangat, kelam kabut depan his school to send him over. Suddenly, by accident, I hit his face with the car's key.

Me: oops. I'm sorry, sakit tak?

Him: It's OK Mummy. It was an accident!!! (but in his slang, accent, and pelat laah kan??)


Situasi 2

Lazying around in front of the laptop since Sayang was not around. Hehhe!!!

Him: Mummy, I'm hungry!

Me: Alaaaa.... Mummy malas laaa nak masak! (Bad mother mode ON!) Mummy masak Maggi eh???

Hm: OK, sure Mummy... nak Maggi, dengan egg dengan carrot eh???

Me: OK..

After placing a bowl of fresh newly Maggi in front of him

Him: Thank you so much Mummy.... Mmmmm.... Delicious!!!!


Situasi 3

During Ramadhan, suddenly, perut masuk angin, so, went to the toilet and uweeekkkkk!!!!!

Him: Mummy, are you OK?

Me: Yeah, I'm fine Faheem. Thank you!

Him: Mummy muntah eh??? Nanti minum air lepas tue makan ubat ye Mummy??

Me: It's OK Faheem, I'm fasting

Him: Oh, OK Mummy. Sure...


Situasi 4

Before snooze off....

Me: Good night Faheem...

Him: Good night Mummy...

Me: I love you Faheem...

Him: I love you too Mummy...

Me: Assalamu'alaikum Faheem...

Him: Wa'alaikumussalam...


Such a sweet talker!!! Mana laaa dia belajar... Hish!!!!

Movie 29 Februari Review

Great, orang cerita pasal raya, aku cerita pasal filem.... 

Heheheh!!!! Nak wat camno, aku anak jati KL, Sayang lak, murtad BP, celup KL, anak lak kampung kat Scotland (perasan!!!!), jadik, kami takder kampung yang sawah padi luas terbentang, atau desiran ombak memecah pantai!!!

Kampung kami lebih pada petang-petang stok kalau panas orang terjun sungai, kami terjun swimming pool, or larik gi KLCC untuk aircond free.... 

Jadik, raya kami, sederhana dan biasa-biasa saja... 

Walau kadang-kadang jeles gak ngan orang yang ada kampung, boleh bakar lemang ramai-ramai, atau lawan main meriam kabait ka, buat pulut kacau kaa... (terkenang cerita Remy Ishak Pulut Kacau Meriam Kabait, LOL!!!)...

Tapi, in a way, bersyukur jugak sebab tak perlu gaduh laki bini tiap tahun nak balik kampung mana or siapa (walaupun still ada konflik bab menentukan timing nak ada kat mana dulu), tak payah bersesak-sesak dengan traffic jam yang sah-sah memang tak leh blah dan at least, still boleh beraya dengan family kesayangan.... jadinya, bersyukur dan redha aje laaa.....

So, berbalik pada cerita 29 Februari. Ini adalah movie kedua yang kami pi tengok time raya...

First movie was Sammy 2, cerita kartun khas untuk Faheem sambil layan kerenah dia nak naik train...

Kan dah aku cakap, KLCC atau shopping complex memang rumah kedua untuk kami beraya!!!

Since sinopsis cerita nie dah banyak kali diberitahu, so, tak perlulah aku buang tenaga nak taip ye tak???

So, yang aku suka pasal movie nie haruslah....

1) Remy Ishak

2) Remy Ishak berlakon dengan mantapnya

3) Remy Ishak menyanyi dengan suaranya yang membuai (kegatalan terserlah!!!)

4) Lagu-lagu yang memang best (Ok, kena carik OST sbb Sayang dah approved!!! YES!!!)

5) Idea cerita yang unik dan menarik. Kuddos to Edry, sebab Hollywood pun tak terfikir idea cenggini!!! (I  mean about the leap year thingy. Konsep maybe Edry dapat idea dari Benjamin Button and Forest Gump)

6) Olahan yang baik dan kemas

7) Pemilihan pelakon yang tepat, kena dengan setiap watak

8) Lakonan memang mantap, Izzue Islam, you can act!!! Jojo dan yang lain-lain

9) Snapshot peristiwa-peristiwa bersejarah Malaysia. Feel weh!!!! Time kena pancung, aku tutup mata dah!!!

10) Penutup yang selamat... Kira tak der tergantung sampai tahap nak bakar wayang!!! LOL!!!

Yang aku rasa masih boleh diperbaiki untuk lebih memantapkan cerita

1) Cerita tak sampai 2 jam, pendek sangat!!! Kalau lagi panjang, mesti lagi banyak babak-babak best boleh letak!!!

2) Cerita nie memang mainly fokus pasal cinta agung Budi and Lily, jadi time Budi pindah Penang (1970an-2012) macam melompat-lompat and cepat sangat!!! Macam flat je hidup Budi and macam Penang takder benda best yang berlaku during that time (except time Dr. Mahathir datang Penang untuk launch Proton and Penang Bridge!!!)

3) Time nak dekat ending a bit cliche. Tak leh sebab lain ke??? Contohnya overdose rokok ke???? At least boleh bagi message yang rokok membahayakan kesihatan!!!! Hahahhaha!!! 

4) Aku membayangkan time dah jumpa Lily balik, akan ada babak-babak yang sweet cam cerita Notebook, kira kongsi cerita ke, apa Lily buat kat Penang ke, tengok gambar lama ker.... mesti lagi sweet kot....

Anyway, semua nie pendapat peribadi aku (and ada sikit-sikit yang Sayang chipped in!)...

All in all, it was a very good movie and portray the fact that our film industry can do more, improve more and grow more rather than all those stupid rempits and lambong and seram movies!!!

For us, we gave 4.5/5 stars for this movie. For those who reads this, be it my friends, families or whoever happened to find this page, please, just go and watch this movie. I guarantee that you will love this movie just like we did!!!

Mind you, this is my honest opinion and I don't get paid to say that these was a good movie!

My Ramadhan's Iftar

Ye laaa... kalau nak kata cerita pasal Ramadhan, macam tak kena aje bila asyik duk cerita pasal makan. So,  kita cerita pasal Iftar.

As usual, on 1st and 2nd Ramadhan, we went back to our parents for iftar. Some more, it was weekend. So, memang sesuailah untuk orang yang malas masak macam aku!

Then, on Monday. We didn't manage to stock up any food in our kitchen yet since Sayang was working over the weekend. We only managed  to stock up the milk supplies for Faheem, that was it! So, left with no choice, we went over to bazar that evening. Planning to get the most delicious nasi ayam for its price, jadi, takdelah aku masak nasi, kan?. Little did I know, the nasi ayam van was relocate to the other bazar this year.

A bit frustrated actually! We finally end up with one whole ayam golek, some mix veges, tepung pelita and colourful drinks. Not to forget, the rice itself. We spent nearly RM30 for all this

So, we went home, heat up the food to make it as hommie as possible. Then, Strike #1, the thing that I hate most with tapau food. THE RICE! Usually, the rice is hard and difficult to swallow. Sometimes, it even comes in greyish colour! Ok, forget about proper dine in that definitely will cost you fortune. But. it's more about simple stall and even most of kedai makan Melayu/ Thai! Peliknya, when it comes to Mamak, their rice is always delicious to be eaten on its own! Agaknya, tu lah sebab orang kita suka pergi mamak! Same goes to our favourite nasi ayam van. The rice is so soft that you just can't stop eating!!!! Nasi keras, sangat potong untuk berbuka, OK?

Strike#2: Spending RM30 for berbuka on every weekdays is just too much , in my opinion. Raya is coming over and surely we need more money to balik kampung (despite the facts that we are KLians, we still need to melawat sedara mara!!!). So, suddenly on 3rd Randhan, during iftar, I kind of having epiphany! Hehhe!!

Suddenly, I feel excited! All sweet memories during iftar in UK keep lingering in my mind. We were very enthusiastic every iftar and challenge ourself with our favourite food that nowhere to be found there. We made murtabak, puding jagung, bawal sweet sour, even kuih tako, mee rebus, char kuew teow, nasi tomato, nasi jagung, lamb chop, paprik, masak halia etc! Our murtabak memang best seller lah kan during iftar program in Aberdeen. Not to mention, my sambal nasik lemak yang even been requested on 1 Syawal, to be eaten with lontong or nasik lemak itself. Ok, nie orang yang kata OK? Bukan aku syok sendiri!!! Seriously where are my mojo now???

So, on Tuesday, with RM50 in my purse, I went to the usual shop that Sayang goes every time he gets our kitchen supplies. Mind you, I hate going to pasar basah!!! That's the ultimate job for the guys in my family!!! I know type of fishes and veges, but never ever ask me untuk angkat and pilih-pilih ikan, or udang, or sotong or daging!!!! Kalau angkat untuk basuh simpan dalam fridge takpe! Sebab tu maknanya aku kasik mandi ikan tu sampai bersih!!! Tapi kat pasar, Oh NO!!! Yup, I'm penggeli that way!!!

I looked around that pasar segar. With some consideration with my limited budget, and after asking around the price of chicken poultry and meat, I decided to buy one whole chicken, half kilos of meat, eggs, onions, chillies, some spices and a lot of veges. Yup, I love veges, I always try to include veges in my main dish, besides the vege dish itself!

Then I went to the counter, while praying that the cost will not exceed RM50. And yup, it was only RM30. So I told the abang counter to hold the items first as I'm getting more items. So, I decided to buy more veges and prawns. All in all, my RM50 left with a few change.

That day, I made my family beef curry with eggplant and okra. And cabbages to as vege dish. On Wednesday, it was nasi tomato with ayam merah and acar nenas. Paprik campur for yesterday aside with kangkung goreng belacan.

I'm fully satisfied. RM50 for 3 adults (including my brother) for 4 days (including today) was not bad at all. The good thing as well, the food I cooked is enough to last till sahur. Well, sometimes with some addition of telur goreng or ayam goreng. I plan to venture food again during this Ramadhan. It's fun, it's good therapy. At least for me!

Bye bye pasar Ramadhan!

The Day I Join 3-Series Club!

Anyhow, I'm thankful enough to love, to feel love and to be loved!

And for the gift from Allah, my 4 years old 'bff', who received a lot of compliments from others since he was even a baby. Yup, it's quite easy actually to handle him, come to think of it! I'm so blessed to have him!

My Sayang, well, after 5 years of marriage, we still survive! So, nay bad, mate!

So, I'm welcoming myself to the club!

Even there are still things that I haven't achieve, yet! It's ok!

I'm still young! At least at heart! <wink>

I always love photography (read: camera!) I had my 1st camera when I was 12, given by my uncle when I scored 4A in UPSR (well, I actually forced him to buy me something for the UPSR thingy)

I even involved in Photography Club when I was in Form 5!

I bought my 1st digital camera by using my scholarship when I was in uni.
1st thing I bought when I received my 1st salary from SLB was, of course, another camera!

When my camera broke in Egypt, sometimes in 2006, due to beach sand, I forced my fiancé (now is my husband) to fly me another camera since camera in Egypt was ridiculously expensive!

Then I rewarded myself for my birthday, the best camera phone for 2006, Sony Ericcson K800, later that year!

My camera got stolen during my wedding day, guess what? A week after, I got myself a new camera! This time, an underwater camera!

Then I bought my 1st interchageble lense camera back in 2009! (it was not a DSLR camera since it was a mirrorless technology camera!)

Sadly, it was stolen at Genting Highlands in 2010! I was sooo sad that time! In fact, I think my husband already banned us to go to Genting anymore!

But, that never stop my love towards camera! So my husband and I bought another mirrorless  technology camera, Sony Alpha A55 early 2011. And I love that camera sooo much!

To date, I owned a total of 7 cameras, bought 6 of them and lost 2 of them! I still have 2 of my cameras, and the rest are still being use by my parents and siblings (except the 1st one since it was a film camera)

Despite that, I have one huge probem, lack of passion! I love taking pictures, but that was it! Yet, photography is so much more than that!

The ultimate laziness, of course when it comes to editing. Sometimes, just a normal lame picture can turn to WOW! if you know how to tweak it.

When I lost my beloved BB, and was looking for another BB, I noticed that instagram has made available to Android. Definitely this has made me change my decision! I just don't like iOS (my personal preferences), so Android is perfect for me, especially with the instagram.

Thanks to Sayang, for this surprise, an Android phone! Honestly, I was shocked even my eyes covered with tears...

And with instagram, what I need to do, is just a simple snap and instagram will take care of everything else!
Ok, fine, my pictures might be not that wow, but who cares! I still love them!
